NABARD Development Assistant Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification :
- For Development Assistant: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen) from a recognized University/Institution
- For Development Assistant (Hindi): Bachelor's Degree from recognized University in English/Hindi medium with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subject with minimum 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS) OR Bachelor's Degree with Hindi and English as main subjects with minimum 50% marks
- Knowledge of word processing on PC (for both posts)
- Candidate must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice-versa (for DA Hindi)
- Ex-servicemen (except dependents) should either be graduate from recognized University OR
- Should have passed matriculation or equivalent exam of Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service
- Candidates applying for post in a particular State should be proficient in official language of the State (read, write, speak and understand)

- To convert CGPA/OGPA, use the following: 6.75 equals 60%, 6.25 equals 55%, 5.75 equals 50%, and 5.25 equals 45% (based on a 10-point scale).
- To calculate the percentage, divide the total marks earned by the overall maximum marks (49.99% is considered below 50%).

NABARD Development Assistant Age Limit
- Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 21 years old (born on or after February 1, 1991).
- Maximum Age Limit: The upper age limit is set at 35 years (born on or before January 1, 2005).
- For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, there is a relaxation of 5 years (up to 40 years).
- Other Backward Classes (OBC) are granted an extra 3 years (up to 38 years).
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) receive different relaxations: General category enjoys an additional 10 years (up to 45 years), OBC candidates get 13 years (up to 48 years), and SC/ST individuals receive 15 years (up to 50 years).

- Priority will be given to the higher educational qualification.
- If qualifications are the same, the candidate with higher graduation marks will be preferred.
- In case of a tie in graduation marks, older candidates will have priority.
- A wait list will be maintained for up to 50% of the vacancies (by state-category), with a minimum of 3 candidates.
- This list will remain valid for one year from the date of approval or until the next recruitment announcement, whichever comes first.
