Eligibility Criteria for East Coast Railway Sports Quota Recruitment
Educational Qualification (10th / ITI)
- Level-2 & Level-3 (GP ₹2000 / ₹1900):
- 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent examination pass.
- Matriculation pass candidates with ITI Certificate or prescribed Railway training are also eligible for Tech-III / Level-2 (GP ₹1900).
- Level-1 (GP ₹1800):
- 10th Pass / ITI / equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT.
- Note:
- No relaxation in minimum educational qualification is allowed. Candidates must submit self-attested copies of qualification certificates with the application and produce original documents at the time of trials.
- Sports Achievement Eligibility
- Candidate must be an active sportsperson with achievements on or after 01.04.2023.
- Sports certificates must be issued by recognized International/National/State Federations and approved by Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB).
Minimum Sports Norms
For Level-2 / Level-3 (GP ₹1900 / ₹2000)
- Represented India in Category-B events, OR
- 3rd position or above in Category-C Championships, OR
- 3rd position or above in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships, OR
- 3rd position or above in National Games / All India Inter-University Championships, OR
- 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior).
For Level-1 (GP ₹1800)
Represented India in Category-C events, OR
- 3rd position or above in Federation Cup Championships (Senior), OR
- Represented a State/Unit with at least 8th position in Senior National Championships (except Marathon & Cross-Country).
